We are pleased to share highlights from the recent nomination and election of new district committee members for the Rehabilitation and Social Development program across six districts in Thailand. The election meeting was held at the Office of Social Development and Human Security in Tak Province, where new committee members are appointed every four years. Our team, including Ms. Phuangthong Meesaen, actively participated alongside representatives from three foundations including SAW Foundation, and delegates from 23 government departments and partner organizations.

During the meeting, new district committee members were nominated to strengthen collaboration and coordination with local stakeholders. These committees will play a key role in addressing critical social issues such as labor rights, human trafficking, prostitution, and emergency community needs. The newly elected members will serve across six districts, including Tak and Chiang Mai, working closely with communities to drive impactful and sustainable solutions.
