On July 31, 2026, the Japan-based Chit Chit Khin Khin Foundation met with the SAW Foundation to discuss meaningful career and educational opportunities in Japan’s elderly care sector. As humanitarian efforts, the foundation is dedicated to supporting internally displaced communities, populations affected by conflict along the border, and victims of natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and wildfires by providing rehabilitation shelters and care.
In addition, a two-year educational scholarship is available for students who are passionate about working in Japan’s elderly care sectors. To work in those sectors in Japan, the foundation suggested achieving an N4 level on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is required. However, reaching the N3 level is highly encouraged, as it will enhance better communication and teamwork within the workplace.
