SAW Foundation was pleased to welcome representatives from the Association for Peace in Myanmar (Chit Chit Khin Khin Foundation) for a meaningful exchange with young people from SAW’s HEP program. On 31 July, the representatives met with HEP students to discuss their current situations, future plans, and opportunities for education and employment in Japan. They shared information about the requirements and pathways for young people interested in studying or working in Japan and encouraged students to continue learning Japanese and completing their GED courses. The representatives also expressed their willingness to support young people who are interested and prepared to pursue these opportunities.
On 2 August, staff and representatives from the Association for Peace in Myanmar visited migrant communities in Phop Phra to provide essential assistance to families and students. They distributed food rations, snacks, raincoats, and umbrellas to 150 migrant households, providing practical support during the rainy season.
