Community Services Program

The Community Service Program was established in response to the 2021 military coup to support the increasing number of migrants, internally displaced persons (IDPs) along the Thai–Myanmar border, and Myanmar migrants living in the targeted communities of Phop Phra District. Through this program, SAW provides essential assistance such as food rations (including rice and dried goods), clothing, and other basic necessities to beneficiaries. In addition, SAW constructs toilets for migrant households and conducts various awareness-raising workshops and trainings under the CSP framework.

As an emergency response initiative, the CSP addresses urgent needs and provides need-based support to migrants and displaced populations in Phop Phra District. SAW also organizes quarterly meetings with local leaders to assess community needs, monitor program progress, and adjust program strategies accordingly.
We warmly welcome your support and participation in the Community Service Program to help improve the lives of people from Myanmar.
