Representatives from Myanmar Health Support (MHS) awarded additional certificates in Media and Information Literacy to 17 students from the Higher Education Program (HEP) at SAW Foundation. The training, facilitated by experienced MHS trainers, took place over four days in December 2025. During the sessions, students gained valuable skills in analyzing fake news related to religion, social issues, and politics—topics that can often lead to misunderstanding and conflict.

They also learned about digital safety to protect themselves from online scams, as well as the roles, responsibilities, and ethics of reporters and journalists. This achievement reflects the students’ commitment to becoming informed, responsible, and critical thinkers in today’s digital world.
