With the generous support of Colabora Birmania, a total of 40 young students (19 female and 21 male) successfully participated in a Basic Swimming Training held from 24 to 28 March 2026.Throughout the training, students learned essential swimming skills, including water confident, breathing techniques, floating, basic strokes, kicking, and water safety. These sessions were designed not only to build practical swimming abilities but also to help students overcome their fear of water.
The training aimed to boost participants’ confidence while promoting both physical fitness and mental well-being. It provided a safe and supportive environment for young people to develop life-saving skills.
These swimming sessions are organized every summer as a recurring collaborative activity between the SAW Foundation and Colabora Birmania , ensuring they gain valuable skills while making their break both fun and meaningful.
