Migrant Support

The Community Service Program was established in response to the 2021 military coup to assist the growing number of migrants and internally displaced persons (IDPs) along the Thai–Myanmar border, as well as Myanmar migrants living in targeted communities in Phop Phra District. Through this program, SAW provides essential support, including food rations for IDPs and migrants, implementation of the WASH Program, and health awareness activities through the Community Health Outreach Program (CHOP) in partnership with the University of Cincinnati.

The foundation also delivers educational support through two Mobile Education Programs for children and youth in targeted communities. SAW works closely with local leaders, stakeholders, and community members to ensure its programs are implemented effectively and respond to the real needs of beneficiaries.
