On 4 July, 2026 , Dr. Massan, a dentist from Japan, conducted a Dental Health Education training for staff and teachers from local Migrant Learning Centers in Phop Phra. A total of 18 participants attended the training to strengthen their knowledge of dental and oral health and prepare for conducting dental health education sessions with students from the Migrant Learning Centers and migrants from the surrounding communities.
During the training, participants learned about the importance of good dental and oral hygiene, common dental health problems, and the consequences of poor oral health. They also practiced proper toothbrushing and handwashing techniques to ensure they were well prepared before delivering the sessions to students and community members.
After completing the training, the participants applied their knowledge by conducting dental health education sessions with students and migrants from three Migrant Learning Centers, as well as an additional dental health awareness workshop for migrants from the targeted communities. As a result, more than 400 students from the three learning centers received dental health education from the trained educators.
