Program staffs from Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF) visited SAW Foundation to conduct eye screenings and vision tests for students and staffs. The medical team carried out examinations for visual impairments, cataracts, glaucoma, and other eye diseases. A total of 150 students and staffs participated in the screenings, and eyeglasses were provided according to individual vision needs and impairments. After the examinations, 57 people received appropriate eyeglasses to support their eyesight and daily activities.
In addition, two wheelchairs were donated to children with disabilities at the foundation to help improve their mobility and daily functioning.
